Editorial Policy
How 12classresult.pk verifies result dates, SMS codes, pass percentages and other data. We publish only what is verified from official sources or credible media, with full source attribution.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all factual claims on 12classresult.pk: result dates, times, pass percentages, SMS codes, grading rules, gazette links, supplementary schedules, position holder information and board data.
2. Source hierarchy
Tier 1: Official sources (always sufficient)
- Board official notices and press releases
- Official board result portals (e.g. biselahore.com, fbise.edu.pk)
- PBCC (Punjab Boards Co-ordination Commission) official schedule
- IBCC official notices and FAQ pages
- Government press releases (APP, PPI)
Tier 2: Credible media (requires two independent sources)
- Dawn, The News, Express Tribune, The Nation (English language)
- Geo News, ARY News (broadcast media)
- These are labelled 'Reported' on the site until confirmed by a Tier 1 source
Tier 3: Not used as sources
- Aggregator sites (ilmkidunya, result.pk, parhlopakistan, allpakistanexamresults, biseresults.com, hamariweb, urdupoint and similar)
- Social media posts without official attribution
- Sites that repeat other aggregators' data
3. Status labels

4. SMS codes
SMS codes are published only when confirmed from an official source for the current cycle. A code that was used in a previous year is not published unless confirmed for the current year. Conflicting reports between sources result in "Not confirmed yet" until resolved.
5. Corrections
Corrections are logged on the Sources page with a timestamp. On result day, corrections are processed within 15 minutes. Off-season, within 24 hours. Send corrections to contact@12classresult.pk or via the Contact page.
6. Disclosure
12classresult.pk is an independent site. We have no financial or organisational relationship with any BISE, FBISE, IBCC or government body. The site carries advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising has no influence on editorial content. External links to official board portals are provided for the reader's convenience and are not affiliate or sponsored links.
